I teach at the BA and MA levels on a variety of topics including postcolonial studies, cultural studies, Caribbean literature, feminist literature, and New American Studies. Some of the books I have taught and/or are teaching are Yaa Gyasi’s Homegoing, Cathy Park Hong’s Minor Feelings, Kiese Laymon’s Heavy, Michelle Cliff’s No Telephone to Heaven, Toni Morrison’s The Bluest Eye, Lorraine Hansberry’s A Raisin in the Sun, etc.

I have taught various courses such as “The Body in Critical Theory and Non-Fiction Writing”, “Introduction to literary analysis”, “Power, Knowledge, and Representation: An Introduction to Gender Studies”, “Feminist Theories and Fictions”, “Cristina García’s Dreaming in Cuban”, “Latinx literature”.
2018; 2021
I have twice participated as a teacher the école d’été sur le postcolonialism established in 2018 by Rahel Kunz and organised via the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Lausanne. This Summer School takes place every two years. The next edition is planned for 2023. Hereby the title of my block-courses for both editions.
